Summary
On the site of a former night club in a residential area of Corby, this 85 bed care home was our second project with Main Contractor Baxter and King (Construction) Ltd. Built using Porotherm clay blocks it is thought to be one of the largest commercial projects undertaken in the UK constructed with this new product.

Summary
A 60 Bed carehome across three floors in load bearing masonry. Court Lodge Road proved to be a tricky site for drainage due to potentially high ground water levels and surcharged infrastructure.

Harry Sotnick House, Portsmouth

A 95 bed, new build care home across two floors in load bearing masonry. ARC Engineers was appointed by the contractor to provide full structural design services to this development including design and detailing of reinforced concrete ground beams supported on 208 auger displacement piles

Priory Hall, Halstead

Our fourth project with Baxter and King (Construction) Ltd and our second with LDP Architects, Priory Hall is a three storey 70 bed care home built using Porotherm clay blocks with precast concrete hollowcore planks. Mugdock House, Bearsden

Summary
Our first project for BUPA Care Services is the provision of this 64 bed, two storey care home which will specialise in dementia care provision. ARC Engineers provided full Civil and Structural Engineering services for the project including detailed drainage and foundation designs as well as superstructure design to the structural steelwork with insitu concrete on profiled metal decking to form composite beam action with the floor slabs. Field Lodge is a brand new 72 bed care home which opened in February 2014. The care team are fully trained to provide care to meet a wide range of care needs, including specialist nursing and residential care. ARC Engineers Ltd have been involved with this development from Highways, sub-structure and super structure to drainage for Specialist Design and Build Contractor Baxter and King Construction Ltd.
